Job description

Senior ADMS Test Lead
Contract Length:  12+ months
Location: Dallas, Texas (hybrid – 3 days onsite) ****LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY****
We are seeking a Senior ADMS Test Lead to provide testing leadership for a large-scale utility technology program. This role will lead testing strategy, quality initiatives, automation, performance testing, and overall test execution across the program. The ideal candidate will have extensive utility industry experience supporting complex systems such as ADMS, OMS, DMS, or SCADA, along with strong leadership experience across large-scale testing programs.
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of QA and testing leadership experience
  • 10+ years of experience within the utility industry
  • Strong experience testing ADMS, OMS, DMS, SCADA, systems
  • Experience leading large-scale system integration and end-to-end testing initiatives
  • Strong experience with test automation and performance testing
  • Experience with tools such as Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, TestComplete, NeoLoad, and/or JMeter
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, TypeScript, or another scripting/programming language
  • Experience with CI/CD environments and Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing testing resources, environments, vendors, and multiple workstreams
  • Emerson ADMS experience is a plus
  • GitLab CI experience is a plus
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule and support additional hours when needed

Responsibilities
  • Lead the overall testing strategy and quality approach for a large utility technology program
  • Manage end-to-end testing activities, including integration, automation, performance, and functional testing
  • Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, environments, schedules, and testing criteria
  • Partner with application, development, product, infrastructure, and program teams to identify and resolve testing risks
  • Identify opportunities to improve test automation, performance, virtualization, and overall application testability
  • Oversee testing resources, workstreams, environments, vendors, and project deliverables
  • Establish and track testing metrics, quality indicators, automation coverage, defects, and performance results
  • Coordinate defect management, requirements traceability, and release readiness
  • Mentor testing teams and promote consistent testing standards and best practices
  • Evaluate new testing technologies and recommend improvements to increase quality, efficiency, and reliability
