Job description

  • Lead the end-to-end technical architecture and design of OMS solutions to support complex omnichannel business requirements
  • Drive solution assessments, architecture alignment, and fit-gap analysis with enterprise architecture standards
  • Own high-level and low-level design artifacts and lead technical design reviews across OMS modules
  • Provide technical leadership during OMS implementation, customization, integration, testing, UAT, and production rollout phases
  • Guide development teams on OMS best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and IT teams to ensure solutions meet business and operational goals
  • Support OMS upgrades, roadmap planning, and production support activities including issue triage and root-cause analysis
  • Coordinate with product vendors for defect resolution and enhancement planning aligned to release schedules
  • Extensive hands-on experience with IBMOrder Management System (OMS) across Distributed Order Management, Inventory, Pricing, Call Center, Store, Supplier Collaboration,Logistics, and Reverse Logistics modules
  • Proven expertise in OMS architecture, solution design, and end-to-end implementation in large-scale retail and omnichannel environments
  • Strong experience in order lifecycle management, including sales orders, purchase orders, transfer orders, payments, invoicing, taxation, and returns
  • Deep knowledge of OMS integrations with ERP, WMS, CRM, e-commerce platforms, tax engines, and logistics partners usingREST/SOAP services
  • Strong proficiency in Java, XML, XSLT, Angular, and microservices-based architectures
  • Experience with bothB2B and B2C OMS implementations
  • Strong understanding of Next-Gen OMS/ OMoC 0 architecture and containerized/cloud deployments
  • Expertise in performance tuning, scalability, security, and high-availability OMS solutions
  • Experience working in Agile delivery models and leading cross-functional teams
