Omnium Protection Group is a Boston-area security and risk management firm known for professional, discreet, and relationship-based security support. Our school safety programs are built around calm presence, sound judgment, strong communication, and a genuine commitment to protecting children, staff, families, and school communities.
We are seeking experienced, armed School Safety Security Associates for part-time, on-call assignments in the Greater Boston area. These roles support emergency coverage, additional details, call-outs, vacation coverage, and other school safety needs, typically Monday through Friday. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified professionals who take pride in being a steady, trusted presence in environments where safety and service go hand in hand.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

·      Maintaining a professional security presence and providing a visible, reassuring deterrent.
·      Conducting interior and exterior patrols of school properties.
·      Monitoring CCTV and other security-related systems as assigned.
·      Responding quickly, calmly, and professionally to requests for assistance or emergency situations.
·      Providing a high level of customer service to school leadership, staff, students, families, visitors, and the public.
·      Writing timely, clear, and detailed daily shift logs, after-action reports, and incident reports as needed.
·      Supporting arrival, dismissal, events, and other school operations when assigned.
·      Maintaining strong working relationships with clients, colleagues, and members of the school community.
QUALIFICATIONS

·      Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
·      Must currently possess a valid unrestricted Massachusetts License to Carry.
·      Must be able to pass an Omnium pistol qualification or possess valid LEOSA credentials.
·      Must have reliable transportation.
·      Must be well-groomed and able to present a professional, approachable image in a school setting.
·      Must be able to pass Omnium’s screening process and an extensive background investigation.
·      Must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of documented and verifiable experience in law enforcement, military service, corrections, or the private security sector.
·      Must be comfortable working around children and young adults and able to interact appropriately, respectfully, and professionally.
·      Must have the ability to tactfully manage conflict, communicate clearly, and de-escalate potentially hostile situations.
·      Must be flexible regarding schedule, assignment location, and school operating environments.
·      Must be detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently with strong written and verbal communication skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

·      Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
·      Ability to walk interior and exterior areas and climb or descend stairways.
·      Ability to respond quickly and professionally to requests for assistance.
·      Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

·      $40.00 per hour.
