Job description

ABOUT USย
At Okland, we exist to create remarkable experiences โ€” not just through the projects we deliver, but in the way we show up for our clients, partners, and each other every day. We believe that how we build is just as important as what we build, and our purpose is rooted in people. Whether it's a trusted partner weโ€™ve worked with for decades or a new team member stepping onto their first jobsite, we approach every relationship with care, clarity, and commitment.ย
Weโ€™re a commercial general contractor and construction management company with more than 1,200 team members and a track record of delivering some of the most complex and high-profile projects in the country โ€” from semiconductor and healthcare facilities to professional sports venues and high-end hospitality.ย ย
Founded in 1918 in Salt Lake City, weโ€™ve grown steadily for over a century โ€” now with offices in Utah, Arizona, and Idaho โ€” and weโ€™re entering one of the most exciting chapters in our companyโ€™s history. Weโ€™re building more than projects. Weโ€™re building careers, capabilities, and momentum for the future. And weโ€™re looking for passionate, driven people who want to be part of it.ย
ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITYย
At Okland, we believe that great buildings start with great planning. We're looking for an Advanced Manufacturing Scheduler who thrives on structure, precision, and collaboration - someone who can see the big picture while managing the smallest details.ย
This role is critical to supporting complex, system-driven projects within advanced manufacturing environments, including semiconductor facilities. If you're passionate about turning highly technical construction plans into clear, actionable schedules - and enjoy working with multidisciplinary teams and subject matter experts - you'll feel right at home here.ย
YOUR DAY-TO-DAYย
  • Creating and maintaining detailed advanced manufacturing and system-driven construction schedules using Primavera P6 and other tools.
  • Developing schedules that incorporate semiconductor/advanced manufacturing requirements, including systems, tool install, and complex sequencing.ย
  • Collaborating with trade partners, superintendents, and subject matter experts to build and validate schedule logic.
  • Integrating clean room construction, base build, system build-out, and tool installation activities into master schedules.ย
  • Leading pull planning sessions and aligning teams on milestones and deliverables within highly technical environments.ย
  • Supporting project purchasing, change order analysis, and forensic schedule reviews.ย
  • Actively participating in schedule development discussions, working closely with field teams to understand real-time constraints and sequencing.ย
  • Traveling to job sites as needed to support on-the-ground coordination and validation of schedule assumptions.ย
YOUโ€™RE READY FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVEย
  • A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience specifically in advanced manufacturing or semiconductor construction scheduling.
  • Proficiency in CPM scheduling theory and tools like Primavera P6.ย
  • Strong understanding of system-driven construction environments including clean rooms, tool install, and complex facility systems.
  • Experience working on large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders and scheduling responsibilities.ย
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and engineering documents.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate clearly with diverse teams.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving and planning.
WHAT WE OFFERย ย
  • Award winning culture โ€“ consistently recognized by Best Places to Work in Arizona, Utah, and Idahoย
  • Competitive pay โ€“ย  weekly paychecks, salary, bonus incentives, 401(k) with employer matchย
  • Holistic benefits โ€“ Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, & Disability Insurance; paid parental leave, financial literacy resources, and an Employee Assistant Program including legal and mental health support.ย ย
  • Perks โ€“ tenure awards including pro sports tickets, fitness memberships, travel vouchers, and paid work anniversary sabbaticals.
  • Award winning work โ€“ our projects are consistently honored with recognitions from AIA, ENR, AGC, and more.ย  ย
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENTย
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.ย
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and/or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel.
