ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
Receive and review submittals, write and track RFI's and process change orders, prepare and maintain meeting agendas and minutes, maintain construction drawings, assist with change order pricing, provide marketing assistance as required, assist the project manager and Superintendent with subcontract and schedule administration, layout and/or quality control, etc. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Proficiency in various web-based construction management software, such as Procore.
 
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY  
  • Surveying & Layout Skills – Proficient with GPS, total stations, levels, and documenting survey control.
  • Attention to Detail – Ensures formwork, embeds, and elevations are accurate before concrete placement.
  • Plan & Spec Interpretation – Supports crews and subcontractors with clear understanding of drawings.
  • Field Documentation – Accurately completes daily reports, QC checklists, and executive updates.
  • Quality Control Oversight – Actively implements and manages QC processes and tools.
  • Project Coordination – Works with the superintendent to align field activities and avoid duplication.
  • Quantities & Cost Reporting – Gathers and reports quantities for cost control; may assist with timekeeping.
  • Communication Skills – Participates in meetings and coordinates tasks with staff and subs.
  • Technical Proficiency – Uses layout tools, BIM models, and digital documentation systems effectively.
  • Collaboration – Works closely with field and office teams to ensure aligned project execution.
 
YOU’RE READY FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE  
  • Preferred four-year degree in Construction Management and/or four years of experience in commercial construction.
