Job Summary:

Assists in the performance of administrative duties to support the development, coordination, oroperation of a program, project, or University department

Job Description:

The University of Mississippi is conducting a search for an Athletics Intern (Sports Nutrition-Football). This is a temporary, twelve-month assignment to provide opportunities for recent college/university graduates. Candidates should have a desire to pursue a career in sports nutrition.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs research on a specific topic, compiles data, and creates reports detailing findings

  • Proofreads and/or edits publications, marketing materials, reports, and other related documents

  • Performs career specific duties under the direct supervision of an assigned mentor

Requirements:


Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university, conferred no later than the date of hire.
AND
Registered Dietitian and eligible for a license within 60 days of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:
The preferred candidate will have previous experience in a sports nutrition setting and be knowledgeable in the nutritional needs of athletes and active individuals.
