Job description

Summary:
Airoldi Brothers is looking to add a Fueler who will add value to Airoldi Brothers' operations by:
  1. Fueling customer's trucks in an efficient manner,
  2. Maintaining stick readings in trucks, and
  3. Accurately recording and reporting of truck mileage and unit number.

Job Duties:
  • Manually records the truck's unit number, mileage, time and customer name prior to fueling.
  • Fuels all trucks at the islands.
  • Check oil and add as needed.
  • Top off washer fluid.
  • Scan engine compartment for trouble signs.
  • Clean outside windshield.
  • Walk around vehicle checking lights, for reflective tape, and thumping tires.
  • Takes stick readings during fueling.
  • Checks oil levels and adds fuel as needed.
  • Accurately inputs manual records into "Gasboy."
  • Does "finals" to check for body damage and fluid levels.
  • Take pictures of any damage and direct needed repairs to supervisor.
  • Reads and records pump readings at the end of shift.
  • Follows fuel drop procedure. During winter months adds additive.
  • During slow periods:
  • Clean shop.
  • Clean bathrooms and stock toilet paper, paper towels and soap.
  • Keep break room clean and fresh coffee ready for waiting customers.
  • Takes out trash.
  • Keeps work station clean, keeping spills and grease to a minimum.
  • Keeps the yard organized with respect to rentals.
  • Makes sure trucks are put in correct spots and are ready to go.
  • Preps rental trucks for pick up (for the next customer).
  • Signs out rental ticket with the customer.
  • Complies with EPA and safety regulations as well as internal controls.
  • Reports/records cars or vehicles that are blocking access to pump 1 and ensures the fuel drop section is clear.

WINTER:
  • Shovel island and surrounding areas up to and including all entrance ways.
  • Salt all entrance ways and the fuel island (do not use road salt for fuel island).

Education, Skills, and Abilities:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
  • Strong Customer Orientation
  • Willingness to work outside
  • CDL driver license is preferred, but not required
