About the Role


We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Field Service Technician to support customer equipment, troubleshooting, and repairs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mechanical work, problem-solving, and delivering excellent customer service.


Youll work both in-house and at customer sites, maintaining and repairing mechanical and instrumentation equipment used in oil & gas, refinery, and industrial environments.


This is a physically active role, requiring you to be on your feet most of the day and safely lift up to 50 lbs.



Key Responsibilities


  • Respond to service-related requests, including:
    • Return material authorizations (RMAs)
    • Service and repair requests
    • Startup and Commissioning support
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and instrumentation equipment
  • Perform equipment retrofits, maintenance, and field service work
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding service needs, findings, and recommendations
  • Complete required documentation and ensure compliance with company and industry standards



Required Qualifications


    • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (vocational/technical training preferred)
    • Strongmechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
    • Ability to read and understandtechnical drawings and manufacturing instructions
    • Comfortable working in amanufacturing and field service environment
    • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work
    • Willingness to travel and work at customer sites



    Preferred Qualifications


    • Experience in oil & gas, refinery, or industrial service environments
    • Exposure to:
      • Mechanical equipment and systems
      • Basic electrical wiring or instrumentation
    • Previous field service, maintenance, or technician experience



    Work Environment & Physical Requirements


    • On your feet 9095% of the workday
    • Ability tolift and carry up to 50 lbs
    • Work in industrial environments, including oil & gas and refinery sites (travel required)
    • May require use of PPE, including respiratory equipment (clean-shaven policies may apply)
    • Must meet customer site compliance requirements (drug testing, physicals, safety standards)
    • Must maintain a clean driving record
