Industrial Laborer/Field Technician

We are currently looking for a Field Technician for immediate hire. This position is located in [Location]. This individual is required to obtain a TWIC Card within 60 days of hire. This role involves working in various environments, including confined spaces, and requires the operation of both light and heavy equipment to effectively manage spills and emergencies. As an emergency response company, we require employees to be available for on-call assignments and weekend work as necessary.

Essential Functions

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Perform hazardous materials (Hazmat) decontamination procedures.
  • Respond to customer spills and emergency situations during both regular business hours and after hours.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including routine equipment and site maintenance.
  • Execute emergency response operations and hazardous/non-hazardous spill cleanup activities.
  • Conduct daily tasks involving confined space entry, tank cleaning, oil spill remediation, and drum handling.
  • Serve as a facility attendant for the tank farm.
  • Assist with industrial projects, including tank cleaning.
  • Work in confined spaces as required.
  • Be available for night, weekend, and holiday work while on-call or during emergency response situations.
  • Travel out of town as necessary.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education required.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Ability to successfully complete 40-hour HAZWOPER training upon hire.
  • Proficient in operating both heavy and light equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Experienced in using hand tools, shop tools, and various instruments.
  • Demonstrates high levels of accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks, maintain focus, and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Committed, diligent, and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Enjoys working outdoors in diverse weather conditions.
  • Effective communicator with internal and external customers.
