Job description

Oil Change Technician

      Toyota of Murfreesboro has a need for Automotive Oil Change Technicians. We have a career program for technicians, regardless of experience level. We are looking for highly motivated individuals ready to work in a fast-paced environment. As an oil change technician, you will perform basic services on vehicles and thorough multi-point inspections. This position is intended to be a starting point for your career in the Automotive Industry. We provide training for your position and a pathway to becoming a fully certified Toyota Technician.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Perform basic maintenance needs (oil changes, tire rotations, filters, batteries, wipers) according to the repair order for each vehicle
  • Work in a high efficiency two-person team
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
  • Providing excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customer’s perspective comes first
  • Presents a friendly, professional greeting to customers and helps identify, confirm and offer resolution to customer concerns
  • Ensures the customer’s needs are understood and met

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prior experience is preferred 
  • Communication skills – communicates effectively with others
  • Time management – managing one’s own time and time of others
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to life 50lbs
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Good reading, computer and mathematics skills
