Ohio RISE employees work closely with managed care organizations, providers, and community partners to improve access to mental health and behavioral support.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Ohio Rise position, and why are they important?

To excel as an OhioRISE Care Coordinator, you need a background in social work, case management, or healthcare navigation, usually requiring relevant certification or a related degree. Familiarity with care management software, Medicaid regulations, and documentation systems is essential. Successful coordinators address these challenges by leveraging supportive team environments, ongoing professional development, and close collaboration with healthcare providers, schools, and community agencies. Embracing a family-centered approach and utilizing available resources helps ensure every child receives comprehensive and personalized care.
