Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager in our wind energy market. The Project Manager will join a highly experienced and dynamic team leading our Wind Market into an exciting sustainable energy future.
Requirements
What You'll Be Doing
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex and/or multi-service projects. You will ensure the successful completion of projects within scope, schedule, and budget, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and delivering high-quality results. In addition, you will provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and collaborate with service leads to coordinate project activities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Take full accountability for multiple wind energy projects.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, both internal and external.
- Coordinate and manage project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and implement project plans, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
- Oversee project work and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and contractual obligations.
- Track project health and take corrective action when necessary.
- Manage uncertainty and change, such as scope creep and change orders.
- Ensure timely invoicing and accounts receivable collection.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or project management related field
- 2-6 years of experience in a project coordinator, project developer, or similar role
- Professional licensure in a technical field, CAPM, or related certification
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
