Overview

Offshore Paramedic

Offshore Paramedic – Gulf of America

XstremeMD is seeking experienced Paramedics for anticipated long-term offshore assignments in the Gulf of America/Gulf of Mexico . These positions are expected to work a 14 days on / 14 days off rotational schedule , with crew changes primarily from Houma, Louisiana , and select locations from Galveston, Texas .

Offshore Paramedics provide emergency and occupational medical support while serving as an important member of the facility's health and safety team.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Assessing, stabilizing, and treating ill or injured personnel within the Paramedic scope of practice
  • Providing emergency response, first aid, and advanced patient care
  • Supporting occupational health testing, exams, drug and alcohol testing, and respiratory fit testing
  • Maintaining medical documentation, medications, supplies, and emergency equipment
  • Providing First Aid, CPR, and AED training to personnel
  • Supporting site-specific HSE, emergency response, administrative, logistics, or operational responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current State Paramedic License and National Registry, when applicable
  • Current BLS and ACLS
  • Minimum 3 years of Paramedic experience preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of industry-related experience preferred
  • Ability to successfully complete required offshore training, medical clearance, and customer credentialing

Highly Preferred:

  • Previous offshore or oil and gas experience
  • TWIC
  • T-HUET with CA-EBS
  • SafeGulf/RigPass
  • PHTLS
  • DOT Drug Screen Collector experience
  • Previous HSE/safety experience or certifications

Qualified candidates may receive additional XstremeMD and customer-specific training, including AREMM, PHTLS, DOT Drug Screen Collector, First Aid Instructor, respiratory fit testing, and required offshore/customer training.
