Description

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Occupational Health Technician to assist with occupational health services, patient care, and daily clinic operations in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Conduct occupational health testing, including urine drug screens, breath alcohol testing, hair collections, respiratory fit testing, pulmonary function testing, and audiometric testing.
- Register patients, obtain medical histories, and accurately document information in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Assist providers with patient care and routine clinical procedures, including specimen collection and processing.
- Prepare specimens and required paperwork for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinic.
- Perform inventory checks and routine quality assurance tasks.
- Provide outstanding customer service to patients and employer clients.
- Occasionally travel locally to customer worksites to perform onsite testing.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant training or certification preferred.
- Experience in occupational health, a medical clinic, urgent care, family practice, or a similar healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong computer skills and experience with EMR systems.
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and thrive in a team environment.
- CPR/First Aid certification, or the ability to obtain after hire.
