Description

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Occupational Health Technician to assist with occupational health services, patient care, and daily clinic operations in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Conduct occupational health testing, including urine drug screens, breath alcohol testing, hair collections, respiratory fit testing, pulmonary function testing, and audiometric testing.
• Register patients, obtain medical histories, and accurately document information in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Assist providers with patient care and routine clinical procedures, including specimen collection and processing.
• Prepare specimens and required paperwork for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinic.
• Perform inventory checks and routine quality assurance tasks.
• Provide outstanding customer service to patients and employer clients.
• Occasionally travel locally to customer worksites to perform onsite testing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant training or certification preferred.
• Experience in occupational health, a medical clinic, urgent care, family practice, or a similar healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong computer skills and experience with EMR systems.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and thrive in a team environment.
• CPR/First Aid certification, or the ability to obtain after hire.
