Job description

Mako Industries is currently seeking experienced Pipefitters for offshore projects. Candidates must have strong experience in pipe fabrication, layout, installation, and assembly in offshore oil & gas environments. The ideal candidate will be able to work safely and efficiently while meeting project schedules and quality standards.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and isometric drawings
  • Measure, cut, bevel, fit, and assemble pipe systems
  • Install carbon steel, stainless steel, and process piping systems
  • Perform pipe alignment and fit-up for welding crews
  • Work with valves, flanges, supports, and related piping components
  • Ensure all work meets project specifications and offshore safety requirements
  • Assist with hydro testing, line checks, and system preparation
  • Work closely with welders, riggers, and offshore construction teams
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas offshore
  • Minimum 3-5 years of pipefitting experience
  • Offshore experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of pipe fabrication and installation
  • Ability to read and interpret ISO drawings and spool sheets
  • Experience with stainless steel and carbon steel piping systems
  • Valid passport required
  • Must be able to travel offshore and work rotational schedules
  • TWIC card and offshore safety certifications are a plus
  • Must pass drug screening and safety requirements
  • Experience in offshore oil & gas, refinery, or petrochemical industries
  • Knowledge of offshore piping standards and procedures
  • Familiarity with hydro testing and mechanical completion
  • BOSIET, HUET, or additional offshore certifications preferred
