Job description

Client Partner, Recruiting Solutions

Urrly is building a faster, smarter recruiting model by combining experienced recruiters with AI agents that remove administrative drag, accelerate sourcing, and give clients better hiring evidence earlier. As a Client Partner, you will own client relationships, recruit exceptional talent directly, and grow accounts by delivering outcomes - not by selling promises.

The Opportunity

This is a hybrid recruiting, account management, and expansion role for someone who wants more ownership than a traditional recruiter or account manager role usually offers.

You will be both the primary commercial partner and a hands-on recruiter for a portfolio of Urrly clients. You will learn each client's business, lead discovery and calibration, build search strategies, source and engage candidates, run screens, manage the process through placement, and identify the next hiring problem Urrly can solve.

This is not a traditional cold-hunting role. Growth comes from earning trust, delivering strong recruiting outcomes, uncovering additional needs, and making it easy for clients to expand their relationship with Urrly.

Why Urrly

Recruiting has traditionally forced companies to choose between speed, quality, and cost. Urrly is building a better model.

We combine strong recruiting judgment with AI-native infrastructure to handle repetitive work, accelerate research and sourcing, and give hiring managers clearer evidence earlier in the process. AI assists the work; people own the decisions.

That means our Client Partners spend more time on the work that actually requires human judgment:

  • Understanding a client's business, org structure, and hiring priorities
  • Defining what great looks like for each search
  • Building trusted relationships with executives, investors, people leaders, and operators
  • Assessing candidate fit with clarity and evidence
  • Advising clients when trade-offs, timelines, or expectations need to change
  • Turning successful delivery into account growth

Urrly can deliver recruiter-screened candidates in days rather than weeks, with outcomes that are faster, clearer, and more cost-effective than traditional retained search.

What You Will OwnClient Relationships and Account Growth
  • Build trusted relationships with CEOs, CFOs, investors, people leaders, and functional executives
  • Learn each client's business, growth plan, organization, and hiring priorities
  • Serve as the primary commercial point of contact across active searches and broader account needs
  • Lead client updates, calibration conversations, and difficult discussions with clarity
  • Recognize when an engagement is losing momentum and act before it stalls
  • Own expansion, renewal, pricing, and scope conversations with support from Urrly leadership
Search Strategy and Recruiting Delivery
  • Lead discovery that turns business needs into clear recruiting engagements
  • Establish success criteria, trade-offs, timelines, and decision rules for each search
  • Build search strategies based on client context, market realities, and candidate availability
  • Personally source, engage, screen, and help close candidates
  • Coordinate sourcing and offshore support while staying accountable for recruiting quality
  • Translate market and candidate feedback into practical client recommendations
Operating Rhythm and AI-Enabled Execution
  • Use Urrly's platform, AI agents, automation, and data to reduce administrative work and improve speed, visibility, and outcomes
  • Keep clients and internal systems current without needing to be chased
  • Maintain strong communication rhythms across candidates, clients, and internal partners
  • Help refine the playbook Urrly uses to train future Client Partners
What Makes You a Strong Fit

The most direct fit is an agency recruiter, full-desk recruiter, staffing account executive, recruitment consultant, or recruiting account manager who has owned both candidate delivery and client relationships.

We are also open to strong account executives, account managers, SDRs, in-house recruiters, and professional-services candidates who are excited to learn recruiting and do the work directly.

Strong candidates will bring evidence of:

  • Expanding, renewing, or deepening client relationships
  • Closing consequential decisions, such as a deal, expansion, candidate acceptance, or strategic initiative
  • Running strong discovery and finding the business problem behind a stated hiring request
  • Advising, challenging, expanding scope, or saying no when appropriate
  • Communicating credibly with senior business stakeholders
  • Rescuing an account, engagement, deal, search, or project that was losing momentum
  • Producing high output while staying responsive, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Coordinating delivery through others while remaining accountable for the outcome
  • Using technology or AI tools to materially improve the way you work
  • Learning new industries, business models, and role requirements quickly enough to be credible with clients and candidates

You do not need to come from traditional recruiting, but you must be excited to learn the craft and perform the recruiting work directly. Success in this role requires commercial instincts, candidate judgment, learning velocity, personal ownership, and the desire to build a meaningful career at the intersection of client growth, technology, and recruiting.

Transferable Backgrounds We're Excited About

We are especially interested in people who have shown they can earn trust, work through ambiguity, and create opportunities through persistence and judgment. That may include backgrounds such as:

  • Agency recruiting, staffing, executive search support, or full-desk recruiting
  • B2B sales, account management, customer success, or revenue roles
  • Insurance, door-to-door, canvassing, or other high-activity sales environments
  • Teaching, nursing, service, or other people-intensive professional backgrounds where you developed resilience, communication skills, and accountability
  • Professional services roles where you worked closely with clients and learned complex businesses quickly

If your resume does not look like a perfect recruiting resume, that is okay. We care more about whether you can learn quickly, communicate clearly, manage details, build trust, and consistently follow through.

What Success Looks LikeIn Your First 30 Days
  • Understand Urrly's platform, service model, active accounts, and delivery standards
  • Participate in client calls and internal calibration conversations
  • Own follow-up items and begin using Urrly's AI-enabled workflows daily
  • Learn how Urrly defines quality across search strategy, candidate evidence, and client communication
By Day 60
  • Own routine communication across a portfolio
  • Lead client updates and calibration conversations with support
  • Turn client context into clear action for the delivery team
  • Build confidence using Urrly's systems, AI agents, and operating rhythms
By Day 90
  • Independently manage an appropriate portfolio for your experience level
  • Recruit across active roles and maintain strong candidate and client communication
  • Earn trust with clients, candidates, and internal partners
  • Maintain delivery momentum and advance qualified expansion opportunities
In Your First Year
  • Retain and expand a valuable book of business
  • Progress into larger and more complex account responsibility
  • Help define the playbook used to train future Client Partners
  • Position yourself for broader commercial ownership and higher earning potential
Compensation

The expected total compensation range is USD 150,000-180,000 Yearly.

Location and Work Model

This is a full-time role based in Phoenix, Arizona. Candidates must be local to Phoenix.

The role includes frequent in-person collaboration, especially during the ramp period. Urrly is building a high-ownership team and expects Client Partners to be comfortable working closely with the team in person as the company grows.

Hiring Process

Selected candidates may be asked to complete short assessments before the first screening conversation. These are designed to help us evaluate role-related strengths such as attention to detail, working style, and fit for the type of work this role requires.

At Urrly, fairness matters. We use AI to review every application against the same clear requirements for the role. Candidates are evaluated only on job-related factors such as skills, certifications, and experience, not personal attributes.

Apply now and get a response within 24 hours.
