Job description

Functions

ESSENTIAL 

  • Support enterprise architecture engagement with business and IT stakeholders, working closely with the Director of EA for new business initiatives.
  • Conduct current-state and future-state architectural assessments, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities for optimization and modernization.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise and solution architectures, including reference architectures, standards, and guiding principles.
  • Partner with application, infrastructure, security, data, and integration teams to design cross-domain, scalable, and secure solutions.
  • Support and actively participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB) processes, ensuring architectural consistency, risk mitigation, and governance compliance.
  • Participate in the evaluation of technologies, platforms, and vendors; provide architecture-based recommendations to support investment and roadmap decisions.
  • Mentor and guide architects and analysts, fostering architectural rigor, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with IT and business leadership to align architectural priorities with strategic initiatives and delivery roadmaps.
  • Ensure architectural decisions considering security, compliance, resilience, and operational sustainability.
  • Support enterprise application portfolio management activities, including rationalization, lifecycle management, and technology roadmap planning.
  • Foster a positive team culture through motivation, collaboration, empowerment, coaching, mentoring, and training.
  • Supervise the day-to-day activities of the team to ensure effective support of EA initiatives.
  • Utilize effective organizational change management, including training, communication, and organizational alignment.
  • Working with senior management and other peers for strategy development and execution planning

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or a related field. 

  • 10 years of progressive experience in IT with significant exposure to enterprise or solution architecture roles

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience leading Enterprise Architecture

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience working with any EA tools like ServiceNow APM, LeanIX, Bizzdesign or Orbus.

DESIRED

  • Formal architecture qualifications (e.g.: TOGAF)

  • Experience with enterprise application portfolio management, including rationalization, TCO analysis, and lifecycle planning Experience with Master Data Management

  • Experience in large, global, or asset-intensive organizations.

  • Prior people leadership or matrix leadership experience.

  • Experience in the energy, offshore, or industrial services industry

  • Prior experience working with multiple cultures and nationalities.
