Job Title : UI Architect
Location : Davidson, NC (Remote)
Job Description:
  • Looking for a well experienced User Interface lead with hands on knowledge and proficient with front end frameworks
  • Experience in UI projects with JavaScript, HTMX , ReactJS, Redux, Saga, Babel, Webpack, Tailwind, CSS, HTML skills and very adept in developing responsive Web UI
  • Strong experience building server-side rendered web applications using HTMX, Node.js and Express.js
  • Ability to transform UI/UX designs into scalable & dynamic web pages using above mentioned technology frameworks
  • Strong understanding of NodeJS framework is must for processing Web UI requests.
  • Expert-level vanilla JavaScript (ES6+) - modules, async/await, template literals, DOM manipulation
  • No React/Angular/Vue required - we use server-rendered components
  • Proficient with Tailwind CSS for responsive, mobile-first design
  • Experience with Webpack, Babel, Nginx, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
Highly Desirable
  • E-commerce platform experience (cart, checkout, product pages, search)
  • Performance optimization with Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals, CDN strategies
  • Jest testing, ESLint, accessibility (WCAG) compliance
  • Redis caching, API integration, cookie-based authentication
  • Security best practices (XSS prevention, JWT, input sanitization)
  • Google Cloud Platform, Adobe Target, Winston logging
Job responsibilities
  • Define User Interface strategy for an existing web application [both internet/intranet]
  • Analyze business needs and produce detailed wireframes that meet strategic objectives.
  • Gather and document user experience requirements for current website redesign activities.
  • Create and maintain information architecture to promote usability, while accommodating technical needs/constraints.
  • Provide reusable design interfaces/solutions that match business needs.
  • Develop user flows and personas to facilitate feature design process
  • Prepare roadmap for new features and product enhancement requests, specifically around UX
  • Lead cross-functional design sessions between IT and Business teams.
  • Work with offshore team for all UI/UX related development and maintenance activities.
  • Establish a process to perform periodic reviews for all the UI/UX artifacts.
  • Present and justify proposed mockup solutions internally
  • Propose, justify and implement best practices/standards of UI/UX implementation across the industry.
  • Maintain familiarity with the capabilities of various programming technologies (JavaScript, HTML/CSS, etc.) and their impact on development efforts, user interface possibilities, data accessibility, and compatibility across multiple versions of the same platform (web browsers, mobile OS, etc.)
  • Define and maintain SSR architecture patterns and component libraries for e-commerce platform
  • Build interactive features using HTMX (cart updates, type-ahead search, modals, drawers)
  • Develop Express.js routes, middleware, and integrate with backend APIs
  • Establish coding standards, conduct code reviews, and mentor development team
  • Collaborate with UX designers, backend teams, and offshore developers
  • Optimize performance through caching, asset versioning, and CDN strategies
  • Document architecture decisions, component APIs, and deployment procedures
  • Lead cross-functional sessions and present technical proposals to stakeholders
  • Monitor production issues, conduct security audits, and implement quality processes
  • Stay current with HTMX, Node.js, and web performance best practices
