PDI designs and manufactures a wide range of equipment including pipe tension machines, pipe reels, abandonment and recovery winches, and hydraulic power units. With a focus on innovation and customization, PDI can meet the unique requirements of each client. PDI also provides full-service repair of equipment and serves the horizontal directional drilling (HDD) market with custom-engineered and durable HDD rigs.

Role Description


This is a full-time on-site role for a Machinist at Power Dynamics Innovations LLC located in Picayune, MS. The Machinist will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining various machine tools to produce precision parts and equipment components. They will interpret engineering drawings, perform machining operations, and ensure the accuracy and quality of the finished products. The Machinist will collaborate with the engineering team and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications


  • Experience in operating and setting up various machine tools
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
  • Knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, and materials
  • Ability to perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience in the pipelaying or offshore industry is a plus
  • Associate degree in Machining, Mechanical Engineering, or related field is preferred
