Job Description:
  • Senior Analyst
  • The Retail Services area is seeking an experienced data analyst with demonstrated strengths in managing data processes, analytical support, identifying data gaps, and proposing solutions.
  • The primary responsibilities of this position include SAS coding on Unix/Grid, data validation, as well as optimizing and simplifying processes.
  • Candidate will be involved in business-driven data content validation, and support of business and technical requirements.
  • Working knowledge of SAS on Unix/Grid is a must.
  • The ideal candidate will be comfortable delivering results quickly in a fast-paced environment and resolve issues while working on multiple deliverables.

Qualification and skills:
  • 7 plus years of advanced SAS experience (analytics, data management, data profiling and reporting)
  • SQL and database experience
  • Experience working with large volumes of data in the financial services industry
  • Experience with credit card industry is a plus; experience with Anti-Money Laundering or Know Your Customer concepts is a plus
  • Strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills; ability to trace data end-to-end; understand mapping of elements; independently track down answers and research data issues across multiple system touch points
  • Determine root cause of issues discovered and propose solutions
  • Superior communication skills (oral and documentation)
  • Experience in data/process optimization and standardization
  • Team player collaborating with technical, business, and offshore teams
