This role typically includes chefs, cooks, stewards, and cleaning staff, all of whom work in challenging environments and often on a rotational schedule. Offshore catering is essential for maintaining morale and productivity among offshore workers.

What are offshore catering jobs?

Offshore catering refers to catering services on offshore production or utility platforms, oil and gas rigs, barges, or similar facilities. An offshore catering company employs a variety of food production and service professionals, including bakers, baristas, bar staff, catering managers, chefs, kitchen assistants, food preparation workers, and servers. Depending on your position, your responsibilities include working to prepare, cook, and plate meals, as wells as developing menus and recipes. Effective communication and teamwork are essential, as staff must coordinate closely with both kitchen and housekeeping teams to ensure smooth operations.
