Summary/Objective: 

The Accounting Support/Reception position is responsible for performing a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the department to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization.  This position requires direct supervision.   

Essential Functions:

  • Assists Accounting with various tasks 
  • Data entry 
  • Maintains electronic and hard copy filing system 
  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the phone; answering or referring inquires 
  • Receives and sorts mail and deliveries 
  • Monitors and maintains office equipment 
  • Orders and maintains office supplies 
  • Handles requests for information and data 
  • Provides timely and completed documentation of work performed 
  • Operates vehicles and other equipment safely; adheres to safety protocols; reports hazards and risks; behavior contributes to a safe and secure working environment
