Description
Team Fishel , the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring an Office Support / Administrative Assistant Teammate for our Fredericksburg, VA office.
The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, accounting, be detail oriented, and familiar with construction. Experience working with Miss Utility is highly desirable.
This position requires someone who works well independently and can manage multiple deadline-driven responsibilities, multitask, and communicate effectively about workload and changing priorities. Accuracy and attention to detail are a must.
Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:
  • Purchase Orders & Accounts Payable - Full cycle A/P understanding is preferred. This position is responsible for taking calls from all field Teammates requesting to purchase goods and services. Issuing Purchase Orders, verifying delivery or receipt of product/service, reconciling statements/invoices for payment authorization and accurate job costing, and researching and setting up vendors locally and out of state for goods and services.
  • Preparing customer job packets, including creating Miss Utility tickets
  • Filing
  • Collecting and analyzing data using Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
  • Invoicing to include asbuilting in customer portals
  • Researching and compiling data
  • Ensure accurate job costing
  • Accounts Receivable as needed
  • Other office duties as assigned

Prior experience in the construction industry is preferred, bilingual (English/Spanish) is desirable.
Starting pay $20 - $24 / hour depending on experience.
