St. Petersburg, FL, USA | Hourly | 19.00-20.00 per hour DOE | Full Time

TMG is looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic team players interested in a career rather than just a job. With a team of over 1,500 nationwide associates, TMG is seeking an individual who can uniquely contribute to our 30+ years of success in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sort, process, and distribute outgoing mail; effectively process a high volume of incoming and outgoing U.S. Mail, priority mail, and accountable mail (FedEx, DHL, Hand deliveries, etc.).

  • Operate postage machine according to policy and regulations.

  • Prepare for mailing Certified, Registered, Insured articles, special mails.

  • Responsible for clerical duties including answering telephone in the center and maintaining files, logs, and records on all incoming mail.

  • Communicate on a timely basis with clients and managers on job or deadline issues.

  • Operate and troubleshoot basic equipment problems; responsible for coordinating maintenance and service calls.

  • Utilizes software mail applications where applicable.

  • Provides follow-up communication on deliveries attempted after normal business hours.

  • Completes all outbound mail processing by external carrier pickup times.

  • Picks up and delivers packages and documents to clients according to predetermined schedules.

  • Prioritizes deliveries based on due times.

  • Provides regular updates on personnel changes on floor.

  • Check all out boxes on final mail sweep of the night.

  • Builds relationships with users and manages their perceptions and expectations of department services.

  • Identifies opportunities for business growth and communicates same to the manager

  • Gains a good understanding of client business and shares this knowledge with team.

  • Measures customer satisfaction and subsequently takes appropriate action.

  • Set and reviews local operating procedures to comply with best practices.

  • Perform the work of those whom they oversee.

  • Manage utilization and delivery.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Minimum of 2-3 Mail services related experience with knowledge of commonly used Office Services procedures.

  • 1-3 years' experience with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel).

  • Knowledge of using UPS, FedEx, DHL shipping methods.

  • Excellent customer service skills; must possess a "can do" attitude.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment.

  • Competency in performing multiple functional tasks.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to handle mail or hand cart, dollies, as well as flatbed.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Assertive and resourceful; self-motivated; willing to ask questions and take initiative be able to communicate clearly.

  • Consistently demonstrates professional demeanor, appearance and attitude.
