Assistant Service Manager, Commercial Truck - American Motors, Commerce City
American Motors in Commerce City is seeking a highly motivated and sales-oriented Assistant Service Manager to join our thriving commercial truck service department. If you have a strong background in commercial truck mechanics and a passion for customer service and sales, we want to talk to you!
In this pivotal role, you'll work closely with the Service Manager to ensure the efficient operation of our shop, drive service sales, and maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction. You'll leverage your mechanical expertise to understand customer needs, provide accurate recommendations, and effectively up-sell services and parts.
What You'll Do:
  • Drive Service Sales: Actively identify opportunities to up-sell services, maintenance plans, and parts to maximize revenue.
  • Customer Relations: Build strong relationships with our commercial clients, serving as a primary point of contact for their service needs. Address inquiries, provide estimates, and ensure a smooth service experience from drop-off to pick-up.
  • Technical Liaison: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of commercial truck systems to accurately diagnose issues, explain repairs to customers, and provide technical guidance to our team of skilled technicians.
  • Operational Support: Assist the Service Manager with day-to-day operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and quality control.
