Join Our Team at Avita Health System – Avita Ontario Hospital

Avita Health System is proud to serve the communities of Crawford and Richland counties through three hospitals and numerous clinic locations. Over the past few years, we've tripled in size, now employing over 2,300 team members and more than 200 physicians and advanced practitioners. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to the people who depend on us.

We're currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Oncology Department at our Ontario location.

Position Overview

Assesses, plans and implements the nursing care of patients within the physician clinic with the supervision of the physician or Allied Health Provider (CNP/PA). Participates in patient and family teaching. Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the facility's missions. Provides coordinator to the clinical staff as to patient flow and clinical operations as directed by the physician.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
  • BLS certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS certification or obtained within six (6) months of hire.

Preferred:

  • Two (2) or more years of previous experience in a physician office.
