Will AI replace paralegals?

Office paralegals perform tasks such as legal research, document preparation, and case management, which can be supported by AI tools that automate routine processes. However, AI is unlikely to fully replace paralegals, as their roles also require critical thinking, judgment, and interpersonal skills that are difficult for AI to replicate. Paralegals who develop proficiency with legal technology and maintain strong analytical skills will continue to be valuable in legal settings.
