JOB TITLE: HR Office Manager

SUMMARY: The HR Office Manager provides administrative assistance to the General Manger and Ops team as well as employees. Complete clerical HR duties assisting the Corporate HR Director with HR compliance and audits as well as recruiting candidates to fill open roles. Provide assistance with payroll processing functions.

JOB DUTIES:

Order, receive, dispense and inventory employee uniforms; office supplies; office inventory

Entering payroll into system, compiling additional spreadsheets for payroll, correction of time sheets

Submit monthly resale merchandise inventory to Corporate monthly

Assists with employee relation issues including but not limited to discipline, investigations and legal matters in accordance to company policy andstate/federal laws

Knowledge of employment laws to include but not limited to FMLA, short term and long term disability, worker's compensation and pay day laws, report filing and unemployment claims

Coordinates with corporate and oversees the branch administration of HR programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; assist with disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development

Work closely with Corporate HR Director with HR matters.

Proactively stays informed of changing laws in the human resources area

Receive, review, coordinate and track all donations

Organizes annual vaccine clinics

Coordinate community involvement opportunities

Coordinate events and facilitates training; attends safety meetings

Assists in compiling, managing and submitting the EEO data to corporate

Recruit and process new hires and onboarding as well as terminations and offboarding; schedule interviews.

Runs bi-yearly MVR's

Maintain employee electronic records for branch

Coordinate employee licensing to ensure compliance

Assist with phone coverage as needed

Must consistently follow company policies and procedures

Assists corporate with training and roll out of various programs/ activities

Investigate and resolve insurance issues and questions as allowed by law

All other duties as assigned

Competencies:

Good communication skills and ability to partner and collaborate effectively with others

Excellent time management skills

Knowledge of IPad/Computer applications and operations

Detail oriented, flexible and adept to multi-tasking

Able to work with interruptions

Ability to educate and train employees regarding company policies

Ability to work in fast paced, every changing environment

Strong Excel skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED

Must be at least 21 years of age

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Basic knowledge of general office equipment

Basic Human Resource knowledge

Basic Accounts Receivable knowledge

Ability to conduct training sessions

Basic payroll knowledge

Excellent communication and customer service skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICTIONS:

Advanced knowledge of human resources

Associates or Bachelor's degree

Recruiting experience

HRIS systems (WorkForceGo!)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 75% of the time while operating a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, printer, and/or copy machine

Lifting, up to 50 lbs. overhead as needed (file boxes, uniforms, etc)

Ability to continuously stand or walk

Ability to bend and occasionally squat

Occasional carrying and reaching
