What You'll Be Doing

The Stifel Support Associate is responsible for aiding in driving departmental results for the ongoing support for Stifel's branch offices. This position requires the ability to gain a sound understanding of department subject matter including application support and training and general operational questions. This position will require collaboration among team members, branch office personnel and Stifel clients to provide a high level of customer service under direct supervision while following established procedures.

What We're Looking For
  • Accurately provides phone support with a high level of customer service while adhering to departmental procedures and guidelines
  • Proficiently provide support related to industry related questions, branch procedures and researches branch inquiries while acting as the company gatekeeper for Stifel information
  • Identify potential problems or issues and escalate to department leadership if necessary
  • Develop effective communication skills within the department and Stifel Branch Personnel
  • Provide timely updates on progression of job responsibilities to leadership
  • Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a team and with other areas in the firm
  • Manage large amounts of incoming calls and keeping record of caller interactions
  • Provide the highest quality of customer service through written and verbal communications
  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward callers at all times
What You'll Bring
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow up on open tasks
  • Strong communication skills including phone contact handling and active listening
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Ability to learn Stifel's applications, industry rules/regulations and Stifel policies that pertain to the department and Stifel's branches
  • Working knowledge of financial services applications, systems, terminology and procedures
Education & Experience
  • Minimum Required: High School Diploma
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree or relevant career experience
  • Minimum Required: 0-2 years' professional business related experience
Licenses & Credentials
  • Minimum Required: None
Systems & Technology
  • Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
  • Internet Browsers; including Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Safari
  • Thomson One, BETA & Salesforce knowledge is beneficial  #LI-AS1
