Position Purpose:
The role requires critical thought leadership focused on developing analytical processes, tools, and strategy for driving improved performance throughout the supply chain. This role is responsible for managing team of analysts and senior analysts with strong, wide-ranging technical abilities. This role helps to drive analytical initiatives to tangible results. The role requires considerable analytical and technical skills while being able to use complex analytical processes and then effectively describe those processes to leadership. The role requires partnership and communication skills with operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
  • 10% - Planning and Implementation - Plans and implements department's goals and objectives.
  • 40% - Problem Solving - Provides sophisticated and scalable solutions when confronting challenging analytical and technical challenges.
  • 10% - Project Management - Executes projects in a timely and fiscally responsible manner with utmost customer satisfaction.
  • 40% - Team Leadership - Manages, develops, and maintains a team dedicated to analytics projects throughout numerous elements of the supply chain.

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
  • This Position typically reports to Senior Manager
  • This role has 4 direct reports.

Travel Requirements:
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time.

Physical Requirements:
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of Tableau
  • Working knowledge of presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of analytical/statistics software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R, Stata)
  • Working knowledge of HRIS software (e.g., IBM Kenexa, PeopleFluent, Tesseract)
  • Proficient with data mining software (e.g., IBM Cognos Business Intelligence, Hadoop)
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to develop and apply advanced mathematical/statistical techniques
  • Ability to draw accurate conclusions from financial documentation
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Ability to convey complex or technical ideas and processes in easy-to-understand terms to diverse audiences
  • Ability to negotiate, handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances with both internal and external customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working experience with Google Big Query
  • Working knowledge of writing SQL and/or Python

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
