Job description

The Role

The Project Manager is responsible for the day to day execution for their assigned project(s) including managing, coordinating, and supervising subcontractors, vendors, and personnel to ensure the work is completed on time, within budget, while adhering to Willmeng's quality standards. The Project Manager is also responsible for the oversight and support of the superintendent, as well as the promotion of company safety culture. 

What you will accomplish

  • Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and quality control measures while monitoring project costs and profitability.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve technical issues and maintain project momentum.
  • Process and manage subcontractor payments, change orders, and monthly cost reporting.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for project owners, leading meetings and providing regular status updates.
  • Supervise and mentor project team members, including superintendents and subcontractors.
  • Review construction documents, specifications, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Manage project documentation, permits, inspections, and closeout activities efficiently.

What we would like you to have

  • BS or MS in Construction Engineering preferred or a BS in Engineering with relevant experience.
  • 3 - 5 years project manager experience preferred.
  • Experience with estimating and conceptual estimating.  
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with potential clients.
  • Proficient in construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, and Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
