As a Rooms Concierge, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming, seamless experience for every guest who arrives at our hotel. You’ll be a friendly face throughout the arrival process, helping guests navigate the property, answering questions, offering helpful recommendations, and ensuring they feel cared for from the moment they walk through our doors.
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working with people and takes pride in creating memorable guest experiences.
What You'll Do:
• Fully trained as a Guest Service Agent, proficient in using the Property Management System (PMS), Guestware, and Front Office SOPs, and knowledgeable about hotel facilities and hours of operation.
• Warmly greet and welcome every guest in a friendly and welcoming manner, immediately determining their needs and ensuring a personalized guest experience.
• Ensure that guest and hotel problems are reported, resolved, tracked, and followed up on in a timely manner.
• Stay informed about incoming groups, registration areas, meeting rooms, guest room layouts, room amenities, and room types to assist guests with relevant information.
• Assist in other areas of Front Office/DTS as business demands, providing flexibility and support to ensure smooth hotel operations.
• Arrange transportation requests and billing accordingly, and accept dinner reservations for hotel restaurants, ensuring a seamless dining experience for guests.
• Provide detailed directions and information regarding hotel outlets, operating hours, surrounding areas, room locations, views, and amenities.
• Assist in the completion of the assigned daily checklist to ensure all essential tasks are carried out efficiently.
What We're Looking For
Someone who is:
  • Friendly, welcoming, and genuinely enjoys helping others
  • Confident communicating with guests and team members
  • Professional, approachable, and service-oriented
  • Proactive and able to anticipate guest needs
  • Knowledgeable about—or eager to learn about—the hotel and surrounding area
Why You'll Love this Role:
Renaissance Birmingham Ross Bridge Golf Resort and Spa is widely recognized as one of the finest resorts in the Birmingham area and all of central Alabama. Affectionately known as "The Castle", the resort has recently undergone a beautiful renovation, a pool expansion, and the onsite golf course is the fifth-longest course in the world and a
