Le role du middle office au sein de l'organisation consiste a gerer les controles, les executions et les decisions critiques et urgentes au sein des operations d'investissement. Les equipes des operations de gestion sont responsables de la gestion des positions, de la confirmation et des reglements des operations, du traitement des actions d'entreprise, de la gestion des garanties, de la tresorerie et du rapprochement des positions De nombreuses equipes sont directement en contact avec les clients et agissent en leur nom tout en interagissant avec des parties internes et externes.

Les operations de produits derives gerent le traitement et le reglement des transactions derivees au nom du client et des clients associes.

Ce dont vous serez responsable

  • Gerer les reglements commerciaux, le rapprochement et la confirmation des produits derives tels que les echanges financiers, les contrats a terme et les options.

  • Examiner l'entente de l'ISDA et de la CSA pour les contrats bilateraux.

  • Confirmer les nouvelles operations et les paiements initiaux et a terme avec les contreparties.

  • Surveiller Markitserv, Tradeserv et Tradeweb pour assurer des confirmations en temps opportun.

  • Assurer la surveillance du DTCC pour les incidents de credit et le traitement de ces incidents.

  • Traiter les rajustements du taux d'interet nominal de gre a gre et les swaps de defaillance de credit.

  • Effectuer les rapprochements de gre a gre par l'entremise de Trioptima.

  • Resoudre les coupures de tresorerie et gerer les requetes.

  • Assurer l'ensemble de la gestion post-negociation et du cycle de vie de tous les produits derives de gre a gre et negocies en bourse qui sont compenses et negocies bilateralement.

  • Assurer la confirmation/ l'affirmation des operations et les soumettre a la compensation.

  • Rapprocher les dossiers internes avec les contreparties et les chambres de compensation, resoudre les ruptures et les ecarts.

  • Traiter les evenements du cycle de vie commercial tels que les reinitialisations, les expirations, l'exercice et les transferts.

  • Assurer la confirmation/ l'affirmation des operations, notamment surveiller le statut de compensation avant et apres la gestion de la marge initiale.

  • Gerer les garanties, notamment la preparation des estimations et des rapprochements des differends.

  • Assurer la surveillance et la notification concernant les evenements de revenus et d'entreprise.

  • Gerer les penuries de garanties et le processus de substitution.

  • Effectuer le rapprochement et le traitement des marges initiales et de variation des produits derives negocies en bourse et de compensation de gre a gre.

  • Effectuer le rapprochement des transactions et des positions des contrats a terme avec le courtier en compensation pour s'assurer que les livres du courtier executant et du courtier en compensation sont conformes aux livres SS.

Formation et qualifications privilegiees

  • Baccalaureat/maitrise en commerce/economie avec specialisation en administration des affaires, en comptabilite, en finances ou l'equivalent.

  • Etre a l'aise avec l'ambiguite et avoir la capacite de bien travailler avec les equipes, dans plusieurs fonctions et zones geographiques.

Who we are looking for

The role of Middle Office in the organization is to handle critical and time sensitive controls, executions and decisions within investment operations. MO teams are responsible for position management, trade confirmation and settlements, corporate action processing, collateral management, cash and position reconciliation. Many teams have direct contact with clients and act on their behalf while interacting with internal and external parties.

Derivative Operations manage the processing and settlement of Derivative transactions on behalf of client and associated clients.

What you will be responsible for

  • Manage trade settlements, reconciliation, and confirmation for derivative products such as swaps, futures, and options

  • Review of ISDA and CSA agreement for Bi-lateral contracts

  • Confirmation/Affirmation of new trades and confirmation of upfront and term payments with Counterparties

  • Markitserv, Tradeserv and Tradeweb monitoring to ensure timely confirmations

  • Monitoring of DTCC for Credit Events and Credit Event Processing

  • Processing of OTC Coupon Resets and CDS Rolls

  • OTC Reconciliations via Trioptima

  • Break resolution and query management

  • Be responsible for the full post trade and life cycle management of all bilaterally traded and Cleared traded OTC and ETD derivatives.

  • Trade Confirmation / affirmation of trades and submission to clearing

  • Reconciling internal records with counterparties and clearing houses, resolving breaks and discrepancies

  • Processing trade lifecycle events such as resets, expirations, exercising and Roll overs

  • Trade Confirmation/affirmation of trades, including clearing status monitoring Pre & Post Initial margin management

  • Collateral management of preparing estimates and dispute reconciliations

  • Monitoring & notification of income and corporate events

  • Managing the collateral shorts and substitution process

  • OTC Clearing and ETD IM and VM margin reconciliation and processing

  • Reconciliation of trade and positions of Futures contracts with Clearing Broker to ensure Executing Broker and Clearing broker books are in line with SS Books

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Commerce / Economics with a specialization in Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent

  • Being comfortable with ambiguity and the ability to work well with teams, across multiple functions and geographies

  • Ability to work within a collaborative environment to achieve results

  • Open to work in North American shift hours

  • Strong English written and spoken ability is mandatory to cover international clients
