Job description

Children's Therapy Place, Inc. is currently recruiting for an Office Assistant for our Meridian clinic. We are an outpatient pediatric therapy practice with locations in the Treasure Valley and Magic Valley, providing speech, occupational, physical, and mental health services, along with behavioral and developmental support.
Our mission is to support children and those who care for them through collaborative, innovative therapy services. We value compassion, teamwork, and a commitment to helping children reach their potential, and we are seeking individuals who align with our mission and values.
Front Desk Duties
  • Welcomes clients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries.
  • Protects clients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information, following all HIPAA requirements.
  • Keeps client appointments on schedule by notifying therapists of client’s arrival.
  • Ensure completeness of client files.
  • Responsible for requesting new and maintaining existing Physician Orders.
  • Collect payments from clients at time of appointment (deductibles, coinsurance/copays). Ensures that checks and credit card payments (and corresponding credit card machine batch reports) are sent to the Accounting department; and cash payments are appropriately logged into petty cash.
  • Assist with planning of monthly activities for children at the front desks at all locations, as needed.
General Duties
  • File, fax and shred confidential documents, as needed.
  • Responsible for keeping the reception area clean and organized, throughout the day, as well as, ensuring all offices are neat at the end of the evening.
  • Collect and distribute the mail.
  • Willing to train future staff members.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time (This position follows a 4/10 workweek. Hours are Monday through Thursday)
Hourly Rate: Starting $17 or DOE
