As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients' mental health and developing individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote mental and emotional well-being in both adults and adolescents.
• Engaging with clients via secure telehealth platforms, maintaining a high standard of confidentiality and professional ethics.
• Collaborating with an integrated care team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to improve patient outcomes and ensure comprehensive support.
• Maintaining accurate and organized clinical records and documentation in compliance with state regulations.

Your work will primarily focus on adults and adolescents dealing with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A current and valid California license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Bachelor’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required; a Master’s degree is strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport and connect empathetically with clients.
• Proficiency in managing therapy sessions, documentation, and utilizing telehealth technology effectively.

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, we highly value candidates who have:

• Experience delivering therapy in a remote setting, particularly through telehealth.
• A background in working with a diverse range of clients and understanding multicultural perspectives.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems to effectively manage client information.
