A Road Through Therapy Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our innovative team. This role is designed with flexibility in mind. You will work remotely from the comfort of your home, with regular office hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Our virtual therapy services leverage advanced telehealth technologies, ensuring that you can connect effectively with clients while adhering to best practices for confidentiality and security. You will also have access to modern productivity tools aimed at streamlining documentation and patient management.

• Conduct thorough evaluations of adolescent and adult patients, utilizing evidence-based assessment tools to understand their mental health status and needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting measurable goals to track progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
• Provide ongoing therapy sessions via video and phone, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness techniques.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring seamless communication within the care team.
• Regularly participate in team meetings to discuss treatment progress, share insights, and continue developing your clinical skills.

Your primary focus will be on engaging with a diverse population, including adolescents and adults who may be facing a range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. You will play a vital role in guiding clients towards sustainable mental wellness by fostering a trust-based therapeutic relationship.

• A current and valid license in the State of California as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant mental health field from an accredited institution.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with clients on a personal level while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Strong documentation abilities, proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable with remote working tools.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, including outpatient therapy.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote therapy delivery preferred.
• Proficient understanding of various therapeutic interventions and an ability to tailor approaches to individual client needs.
