Job description

Do you want to experience what it would look like to operate your own business, but not by yourself? Are you a self-motivated leader who thrives when given the keys to a project and the autonomy to drive results? If you are looking for a role where your entrepreneurial spirit meets a proven brand, this is your opportunity.
Reporting to the Director of Sales & Brand Growth, you will serve as the primary steward of our food truck business. It is your mission to drive sales, manage expenses, and deliver a remarkable guest experience through exceptional food and unmatched hospitality. We are looking for a leader who will take full ownership of the operation, managing the food truck with the same pride and diligence as if it were their own.
Below is a list of key responsibilities:

Operations & Logistics Management

  • Inventory Control: Place accurate daily orders based on event projections and business needs. Manage the flow of inventory, ensuring all products are organized, rotated, and stored using the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method.

  • Equipment Stewardship: Oversee the daily setup and breakdown of the food truck.

  • Event Logistics: Coordinate the transportation of the vehicle to and from event sites, ensuring timely arrival and efficient setup to meet service windows.

Sales Growth & Event Execution

  • Sales Performance: Actively work to maximize sales during each event through efficient throughput and suggestive selling.

  • Event Coordination: Work directly with the Director of Sales & Brand Growth to identify and book high-impact events, such as community festivals, private catering, and high school sports tournaments.

  • Menu Management: Ensure the mobile unit serves a high-quality, select menu (e.g., Original Chicken Sandwiches, Waffle Potato Chips) that meets guest expectations for taste and temperature.

Food Safety & Brand Standards

  • Safety Compliance: Maintain rigorous food safety standards in a mobile environment, ensuring proper temperature holding and sanitation practices are followed at all times.

  • Visual Image: Ensure the food truck remains clean and visually appealing, serving as a mobile billboard for the restaurant's brand.

  • Hospitality Excellence: Lead the off-site team in providing Chick-fil-A's signature hospitality, ensuring every guest interaction reflects the restaurant's values.

Administrative & Financial Stewardship

  • Reporting: Track inventory levels, sales data, and event performance, communicating any discrepancies or shortages to restaurant leadership.

  • Vendor Relations: Coordinate with vendors to ensure accurate deliveries and maintain well-organized storage areas within the truck and restaurant.

  • Commission Tracking: Maintain accurate records of sales to support the commission-based compensation structure.
