Summary of Position
Supports the radiologic technology program's effectiveness, continuous improvement, accreditation, and assessment processes, and ensures compliance with accreditation standards. Coordinates student clinical experiences, fostering learning, engagement, and professional development to prepare graduates for success in the radiologic sciences. Participates in service and engagement activities that support the program, department, college, and university.
Facilitates daily program operation and ongoing program evaluation and development. Coordinates student clinical experiences, including communication with affiliate sites and monitoring student progress. Delivers classroom and clinical instruction and communicates effectively with students, faculty, and clinical partners. Promotes best practices in radiologic science education and clinical training. Faculty member will be expected to enroll in and complete master's degree program to maintain accreditation standards.
Faculty members are expected to maintain a consistent, in-person presence on location throughout the standard workweek. This includes being available on-site each day to support students, collaborate with colleagues, and participate fully in the academic life of the institution. Regular on-site engagement during normal business hours is an essential component of this role.
Position Information
Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources.

Work Schedule: Typically, Monday through Friday, including some evenings, and the possibility of some weekend days.

Qualifications and Competencies
Required Certifications, Training, and/or Licensures: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration, or equivalent, in radiography.
Sponsorship and/or Work Authorization Status: This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications: At least anearned bachelor's degree in education or a health-related field; three or more years of clinical experience in radiography; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification; and registration in radiography.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in education or a health-related field. One year of experience as an instructor in a radiologic technology program. Experience in accreditation requirements, curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation and academic advising. Experience coordinating a radiologic technology or other health-related program.
Physical Requirements: In accordance with the U.S. Department of Labor physical demands strength ratings, this position will perform sedentary work.
Sedentary: work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs may be defined as Sedentary when walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other Sedentary criteria aremet.
