Job description

Job Title: Production Resource
Ocean Spray is now hiring Production Resources teammates at the Markham Processing Plant. The plant sits on 17 Acres and is 200,000 square feet and produces Sweetened Dried Cranberries (Craisins). The Production Resources position is a 12-hour shift from 4pm-4am with rotating weekends off, 36/48 hr. schedule, with a starting pay rate of $20.77. This position is a year-round position, working indoors with five 20-minute paid breaks.

Position Overview:
Primary responsibilities include maintaining, cleaning and sanitation of the facility and equipment (hosing floors, sweeping spills, etc.). Other duties include but are not limited to screening final product to ensure there is no foreign material, creating appropriate documentation; operation of extraction, infusion, filtering, and packaging equipment; and performing quality tests.

  • Dumping re-staged product
  • Sort through product and inspect for foreign material
  • Opening finished product to be placed back online
  • Perform 5S and practice good housekeeping
  • Assist other personnel with duties as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management personnel
