Job description

Pricing Analyst / Pricing Specialist – Freight Forwarding

Location: College Park/Atlanta/GA

Salary: $55,000 – $75,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

Working hours: Mon - Fri - Hours are flexible from starting at 6am EST to ending the day around 7pm EST.

Authorized to work in the USA. No sponsorship is available for this position.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pricing Analyst / Pricing Specialist to join a growing international freight forwarding team. This role is responsible for preparing competitive air and ocean freight quotations, identifying the most efficient routing solutions, and supporting the sales team with accurate and timely pricing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and issue competitive quotations for international Air and Ocean Import & Export shipments.
  • Source and negotiate rates with carriers, airlines, shipping lines, and overseas agents.
  • Identify the most cost-effective and efficient routing options.
  • Work closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure seamless customer service.
  • Maintain pricing databases and carrier rate agreements.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of pricing experience within the freight forwarding industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Air Freight and Ocean Freight operations and routing.
  • Experience obtaining and negotiating carrier rates.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and freight forwarding software is preferred.
