Job description

We are looking for motivated individuals who enjoy a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for shipping and receiving ocean freight containers and trailers at our Kano Trucking Services facility on Oahu, HI. The ideal candidate is responsible, committed to quality service, and can operate a sit-down forklift. You will be on your feet all day standing or walking on the concrete floor in our 77,000 square foot warehouse. You must be okay working in multiple temperatures.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload shipping containers with a forklift effectively and safely
  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
  • Perform inventory controls and keep high-quality standards for audits
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
  • Report any inventory or product discrepancies
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
  • Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Other duties may be assigned

Education & Experience:
  • High School, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Experience receiving LTL freight is required
  • 2 to 5 years of sit-down forklift experience in a Freight Forwarding environment
  • Previous experience loading containers is preferred.
