Job Description

Job Summary:

Under general direction, the Material Handler will perform a variety of activities to ensure the proper handling of materials to support both production and engineering needs. This individual will follow a set of instructions for each of the particular materials received, maintain incoming records, as well as proper labeling and packaging of parts. Secondary activities will include handling and kitting of materials in the stockroom, back up for receiving and shipping functions, and others as needed.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receive materials

  • Package and labeling parts

  • Material stocking, handling, and kitting

  • Shipping & Receiving responsibilities

  • Managing inventory

  • Setting up freight

Job Qualifications:

  • High school degree/GED required; 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing, inventory, or stockroom environment preferred

  • Demonstrates accuracy, organization, and quality of work values

  • Knowledge of and experience with ERP systems

  • Proficiency with Microsoft office applications

  • Able to work both independently and within a team environment

Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
