Job description

Position: Obsolescence Analyst

Location: Remote

Duration: Full-time

Job Desctiption

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Experience in obsolescence management, DMSMS, lifecycle sustainment, or systems engineering
  • Experience in technical remediation planning
  • Experience analyzing and supporting complex ground-based or networked systems.
  • Experience performing system-level analysis, design evaluation, and architecture trade studies for technical problem resolution.
  • Experience developing remediation plans for hardware, software, networking, or processing systems in operational environments.
  • Experience preparing engineering estimates for labor, cost, and schedule.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions in environments with competing technical, schedule, and cost priorities.
