Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain a secure, scalable, and reliable Snowflake platform across multiple environments.
  • Manage Snowflake warehouses, databases, schemas, roles, and access controls following enterprise best practices.
  • Develop and enforce standards for performance optimization, cost management, workload management, and platform usage.
  • Administer platform security including role-based access control (RBAC), least-privilege access, masking policies, row access policies, and audit controls.
  • Lead user onboarding activities including provisioning, access setup, role assignments, documentation, and enablement support.
  • Build and document best practices for Snowflake platform design, operations, governance, security, and support.
  • Monitor platform performance, cost, access activity, and usage trends through observability and audit capabilities.
  • Establish logging, auditing, and monitoring standards to improve operational visibility and compliance readiness.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience designing, administering, and supporting Snowflake in an enterprise environment for 5+ years.
  • Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture including virtual warehouses, databases, schemas, storage, cloning, time travel, and secure data sharing.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake security models including RBAC, masking policies, row-level security, and governance controls.
  • Experience with observability, audit logging, usage monitoring, and cost optimization for cloud data platforms.
  • Ability to document standards, operational procedures, governance controls, and best practices clearly and effectively.
  • Experience onboarding users and supporting cross-functional teams in a shared data platform environment.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and solutions.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
