Job title: Powertrain Controls Engineer

Location: Columbus, Indiana, 47201 (100% On-site)

Duration: 6 months

Contract

Must Have

  • Experience in Matlab Simulink development for Powertrain Engine components.
  • Experience in handling of OEM calibration tools
  • Experience in OBD and Diagnostics development

Technical/Functional Skills:

  • Experience in designing, developing, and validating control systems for vehicle powertrain components such as engines, transmissions using Matlab Simulink.
  • Understanding of control algorithm and calibration of engine parameters.
  • Experience for System integration including CAN communication and subsystem diagnostic.
  • Experience in coordination and collaborate with cross-functional teams, like system integration team, and software team.
  • Expertise in Model development using Simulink/Stateflow
  • Expertise in MATLAB model design for control application
  • Experience in Code generation using TargetLink
  • Experience in MIL/SIL testing
  • AUTOSAR application development would be an added advantage
  • Experience in CAN, J1939, OBD, UDS Protocols <--- (Required minimum one skill from this list)
  • Experience in handling of OEM calibration tools.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design, Modeling and testing of Software components for Automotive Embedded products like ECM, Traction Control etc
  • Development of Model in Matlab and code generation using TargetLink
  • Validation of model using back to back testing (MIL/SIL)
  • Deliver as per defined Change Request and Configuration Management process and adhere to ASPICE standards
  • System integration including CAN communication and subsystem diagnostic communication

Generic Managerial Skills, If any:

  • Managing the program changes and coordinating with team
  • Support team in performing root cause analysis
