Job description

OB Ultrasound Technologist

The Client-Fetal Medicine sonographer performs diagnostic imaging scans on patients during high-risk pregnancies. Responsibilities include performing routine and specialized sonography procedures to produce quality images for diagnosis and treatment. Scans include nuchal translucency assessment, biophysical profiles, detailed scans for twins and triplets, umbilical artery doppler, and middle cerebral artery doppler. Candidates must have graduation from an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an OB Ultrasound Technologist is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also necessary. Experience with specific charting systems is required. A background check and verification of work history over the last 7 years are mandatory. Candidates must provide accurate work history information and may need to provide documentation for verification. All certifications must be AHA or American Red Cross certified and provided upon submission.
