As a Mother Baby RN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns while supporting families through one of life's most important milestones. What you will do in this role:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for postpartum patients and newborns
- Monitor maternal and neonatal status and identify changes in condition
- Provide breastfeeding and newborn care education
- Support patient recovery following vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Collaborate with physicians, lactation consultants, and interdisciplinary teams
- Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and an exceptional patient experience
- Document care accurately and in accordance with hospital policies
- Current RN licens
- BLS required
- NRP required or obtained within designated timeframe
- Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Mother Baby/Postpartum experience strongly preferred
