Job description

Board-Certified OBGYN Physician

A hospital in Tiffin, Ohio is seeking a Board-Certified OBGYN Physician for short-term call coverage. This role involves ER/GYN and L&D call with a balanced mix of obstetrics and gynecology cases.

Location: Tiffin, OH

Coverage Dates: May 6 (8 AM) – May 11 (8 AM)

Practice Setting: Hospital (ER/GYN + L&D Call)

EMR: Epic

Beds:

  • 10 LDRP
  • 3 Postpartum
  • 1 Triage

Nursery:

  • 12 Normal Newborn Beds (No Special Care Nursery)

Patient Volume:

  • 2–5 nursery admissions/day
  • Newborn census: 3–4/day
  • Peds: minimal (0–1 every 2 months)

Team Structure:

  • 2 Physicians
  • 5 CNMs

Case Mix:

  • 40%–50% GYN (1–4 surgeries/day)
  • 15%–35% C-sections
  • OB + GYN full-scope coverage required

Required Skills:

  • Must perform C-sections
  • Must handle all OB/GYN-related surgeries
