Position Overview

A well‑established healthcare facility in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join its anesthesia care team. This role offers a supportive clinical environment, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to practice in one of Virginia’s most scenic and vibrant communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, high‑quality anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures (general, ortho, GI, OB, and more depending on facility).
  • Conduct pre‑anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
  • Administer general, regional, and MAC anesthesia.
  • Monitor patients throughout the perioperative process and manage post‑anesthesia recovery.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility protocols and regulatory standards.
Position Details
  • Schedule: 10 or 12-hour shifts, Monday-Friday
  • On-site weekend call
  • Patient Population: Adults
  • Daily Case Volume: 5-6 cases per provider
  • Case Types: General, OB, vascular, orthopedic, and pediatric
  • Skillsets Required: Adults, spinals, epidurals, and OB
  • Skillsets Preferred: Pediatrics, regional, complex vascular, and complex orthopedic

  • Must be board-certified

Qualifications
  • Active CRNA certification (NBCRNA)
  • Current Virginia RN and APRN licenses (or ability to obtain)
  • Minimum 1–2 years of anesthesia experience preferred

  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse case load
