Job description

The Account Manager - OATH Nutrition will be responsible for driving growth within U.S.-based Grocery and Sporting Goods retail accounts. This role supports and manages day-to-day account activity while developing new business opportunities. Working closely with marketing teams, the Account Manager plays a critical role in executing sales strategy, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow retail accounts through proactive communication, relationship building, and prospecting.
  • Support key accounts with order management, forecasts, item setup, pricing updates, and promotional execution
  • dentify and pursue incremental sales opportunities, including line extensions, replenishment opportunities, and new product introductions
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, demand planning, marketing, and finance to ensure accurate forecasting and on-time fulfillment
  • Prepare sales presentations, account recaps, and internal reporting to support account strategy and decision-making
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, communications, and activity within the CRM system
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries related to orders, inventory availability, product information, and account status
  • Support field sales and leadership with account analysis, sales tracking, and execution of account initiatives
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics
  • Uphold company standards for brand representation, professionalism, and confidentiality

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of inside sales or account support experience, preferably within consumer products
  • Experience selling to or supporting domestic retail accounts
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong customer-focused selling and relationship management skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Close attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to analyze sales data and identify growth opportunities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Self-motivated, positive, and eager to grow within a sales organization
